Meet Daniel
Daniel is a lawyer with over a decade of professional legal experience in finance, capital markets, commercial litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. He also possesses expertise in oil and gas and environmental disputes having represented international oil companies in environmental disputes with host communities.
Prior to becoming a partner at Millhouse Legal Advisory (MLA) worked in the Litigation and ADR department of the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode, one of Nigeria’s largest full service firms. At Aluko & Oyebode, Daniel was exposed to complex commercial litigation arising from the enforcement of New York Convention, Arbitration Award between a private company and a state owned entity. In addition, Daniel also possess significant experience in debt recovery, asset tracing and freezing orders.
In addition to his considerable litigation experience, Daniel possesses significant experience in Capital Market having worked for the Nigerian Stock Exchange a licenced Self Regulatory Organisation (SRO) under the Investment and Securities Act, 2007. At the Exchange Daniel was exposed to emerging trends within the Nigerian Capital Market Space including the emergence of Exchange Traded Derivatives, the Regulatory and Compliance framework for publicly traded entities within Nigeria, Exchange dealing member entities and other operators within the capital market.
